Free is Good

I love free patterns. But seriously, who doesn't love free?

This week, I used these instructions made by Elizabeth at E Tells Tales to make a new changing pad cover for N:
soooo
the closest to happy on the changing table we might ever get
I also used the famous Katrina Soaker Pattern to make my very first fleece soaker:

I'm going on a longer camping trip soon and I wanted to have this to take with me. I got the fabric at Walmart as remnants (ie SUPER cheap). If it works out, I have enough fabric to make a few more, which will be great for the summer since they're supposed to be so breathable. Neither of my kids do too well with extreme heat, so I'm hoping to avoid heat rash if at all possible.

What's next mom?

Who knows what project I'll work on next? (maybe me, maybe not...)

    1. Thanks! It was super easy. I got the fabric at Joann's. It was actually left over from making taggy blankets for my daughter and my niece (another project I found through Pinterest lol).
