If you're new to blogging, or new to the more social side of blogging, this is a great way to get your feet wet. I'm just awful in social situations, but even I enjoy these meetups. These events are always packed, but there's still plenty of opportunity to network - no matter what type of blogger you consider yourself to be.
And who can say no to all these yummy treats? This year's holiday party was scheduled a bit earlier than others, with a brunch buffet including fresh bagels, fresh fruit and veggies, and lots of other goodies including donuts and granola bars.

I love crafting, but this time around I opted to stand on the sidelines and enjoy everyone else's creativity. Crafting was led by Lia Griffith and Fabric Depot.
And the swag was awesome.
Okay... the little girl with the messy hair didn't come in the swag bag, but those awesome glasses were from the Sunglass Warehouse. My kids were fighting over them from the moment they first laid eyes on them. Seriously. My hipster babies. They're also still fighting over the Land of Nod craft kit G & I have been working on (yes, we take a month to finish our crafts).
Huge shoutout and thank you to all the sponsors of the event!

If you blog and you haven't been to an event like this, I would highly recommend it. If you don't have a group like this within a reasonable distance - maybe you should start one of your own! I'd love to hear about your experiences getting together with other bloggers!
