LuSa Organics Booty Balm Review & Giveaway! (closed)

When I had my son, a good friend recommend A&D ointment... and I used it. I thought it worked great. Nevermind the gross smell and the sticky residue that seemed like I could never completely get off my hands. I applied it pretty much every diaper change to keep the diaper rash at bay. When I became pregnant with N, I automatically registered for the same stuff, even though I had already decided on using cloth diapers. Then, my friend Brooke, who has cloth diapered all four of her kids, made sure to let me know I needed some "cloth diaper friendly" diaper cream. She highly recommended LuSa Organics Booty Balm. I looked around, did a little bit of research, and ended up getting some along with one other brand. Let me tell you -- I have never looked back! (And that other brand is still sitting, only partially used, in the top drawer of the changing table.)

I am so glad that more and more retailers seem to be carrying LuSa Organics because the stuff is seriously amazing. Based in Wisconsin, LuSa is a family owned business with a focus on "making the world a bit better each day." And they don't just mean the way it smells.

By keeping our business local, we support the small-town and rural economy of our region. Whenever possible we will hire local people and utilize local or regional suppliers and growers for ingredients and materials. In addition, LuSa Organics supports local social and environmental organizations by giving money and time to causes that resonate with us. Each year we will donate 10% of our profits to the organizations generating positive global change.

But they do make things that smell so very good. Anytime I've used the Booty Balm, my husband comments on how nice it smells. Did you read that? My husband. He doesn't notice much, but he notices that amazing lavender scent of the Booty Balm. Fortunately for him, I don't just use it on N's booty. The stuff is magic (but don't hold me accountable if it doesn't work like Tinkerbell's fairy dust for you). I use it for both kids and myself on minor cuts & burns, eczema flare-ups, etc. Anything that needs a little boost of moisture and soothing TLC gets a little LOBB.
Oh yeah, and if you're wondering how it works on diaper rash - it does. There is a reason I have never bothered to even try another diaper rash cream. N has been known to have what Etta at the Cheerful Homemaker has deemed a "ninja poop." You know the kind - poop that you don't find out about until it's already been sitting, irritating your little one's bottom for far too long. This stuff doesn't just create a barrier to protect from wetness like some ointments (ahem... A&D). It actually treats the skin: healing and soothing.

LuSa Organics makes a ton of amazing products not just for baby. You can purchase a lot of their products from retailers like Sweetbottoms Baby Boutique and Kissed By the Moon (both of which offer FREE SHIPPING), or you can order from their entire line direct from LuSaOrganics.com.
But now you have the chance to win your very own Booty Balm! If you haven't tried the stuff, prepare yourself to be hooked!
