I mean, a baby doll. (Although, if you want to get technical, I have made a couple real babies in my life.) If you follow me on Twitter or Facebook, you may have noticed a progression of messages a week or two back. I started off just wanting suggestions for a good age appropriate doll for N. Then, I realized all the ones I would choose were about 10 times out of my price range. That's when I turned to Pinterest. I found this adorable pattern and tutorial by Keri at Quaint & Quirky.
A few quick late night sessions after the kids were asleep, and voilá! N's first baby doll. She's a little imperfect, but isn't that what makes a rag doll so endearing?
What projects have you been working on? Anything big you're hoping to make?
Oh my goodness! That is ADORABLE! I love how cute the face is! Precious!
ReplyDeleteThank you! She was definitely fun to make. :-)
DeleteOh she's perfect!!! I love her!!! I am going through craft withdrawals! But between the new baby and the boob issues I just haven't been able to work on anything!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you! It seems like the less time I have to craft and blog, the more I craft and blog. Escapism? Denial? lol At least it's fun!
DeleteVery cute! I made a bunch of bows this week. :P I need to finish a quilt tonight.
ReplyDeleteThose bows are super cute! And I wish I knew how to quilt. Maybe someday when things are settled down again I'll give it a try.
DeleteJust gorgeous! This fires up my creative side!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I'm actually working on a couple more right now for Christmas gifts for nieces. The holidays definitely inspire my creative side. :-)
